I was reading Alan's blog... about his love for his mother, and it got me thinking about love. I guess maybe people do see it in differently, or maybe there are different types of love for them. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not anger. It does not boast. Love never fails. Love is a lifelong commitment. Love is unconditional. Love is giving without taking. Without expecting anything in return. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Love is Jesus Christ. And I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
